Our Job as Coaches is to.....

  • Introduce, practice, and perfect individual skills that lead to becoming an accomplished basketball player.

  • Taylor each skill to the individuals abilities, age group, and level of experience.

  • Teach the proper ways to pass, dribble, shoot, defend, and rebound in a very structured and organized learning session.

  •  Master a skill at each level and progress toward more advanced skills at each individual’s pace.

  • Over time, develop players’ abilities that will allow them to succeed at the highest team level to which they aspire.

  • Learn to love, appreciate, and have fun playing the game of basketball.




TREY PRESTON

Trey Preston A native of Austin, Texas, Preston played at Westlake High School from

1989-93, where he ended his career as the all-time scoring and assists leader. Was 1st team all-district as a junior. As a senior was district MVP, All Central Texas and 4th team All-State.

Trey was a four-year letterman at Texas Lutheran University (1993-97) and served as team captain during his final two seasons.  
Heart of Texas Conference champions in1995-96.  1st in School History.

Trey has coaching experience at every level of college basketball DI, DII, DIII and spent 2 years at the high school level.

Trey spent 3 years as an assistant basketball coach at University of Houston for Head Coach Tom Penders where he coached players that play professionally now!

                                       Preston and his wife, Jamie, have a son, Ty and daughter Drew.

TIM GLOVER

Played his High School basketball for Bill Krueger at Clear Lake. 

Coach Krueger retired as the winningest High School Coach of all time.  Coach Krueger is a member of the Texas Basketball Hall of Fame and the National Basketball Hall of Fame.

Tim was 3-year letterman.  As a junior was 2nd team all district and 3rd team all state on Clear Lake’s only State Champion team. Was District Free Throw Champion at 88%.

 As a senior was district MVP, 1st team All State, Regional Tournament MVP, All State Tournament team, 5A Texas Player of the Year, Houston Chronicle player of the year, as team was in the state championship game for the second year in a row.  Ended his career with over 100 wins on varsity and 3-school records: 3’s in one game-9,  assists in one game-14,  and points in one game-39.

Played at University of Pittsburgh (1990-1992) where as a freshman was Chevrolet Player of the game in 1st round of NCAA Tournament vs. Georgia.

Transferred to University of Texas –San Antonio (1992-1994) and was a member of the 1992 Southland Conference Champions.  Was 2 times Southland Conference player of the week.  Shot over 40% from 3point land, and over 80% from the foul line in his years at UTSA.

WAYNE HALL

Wayne Hall

Chief Strength Coordinator of Hall Strength Wayne Hall began his career in Durham, North Carolina. Here he established the Hall of Fitness gym in 1990 and owned and operated it for over 10 years. It is still currently standing today. Mr. Hall has been certified by Nautilus and Body Tech Association, named top 100 in the United States Power Lifting Federation and was the 1999 Special Olympics Power Lifting Coach. During his career he has been able to work with several established strength and conditioning coaches in the NBA. He has worked along side with former Toronto Raptors Strength and Conditioning Coach, Ron Diangelo and former Rockets Strength and Conditioning Coach and currently Houston Rockets center Yao Ming’s personal trainer, Anthony Falsone.

Mr. Hall has been Houston Rockets, Tracy McGrady’s personal trainer for over 10 years. He has extensive experiences in promotions, management, event marketing, and coordination of professional sporting events. He has worked with national corporations including Addias, Europa Sports and I.S.S. Research. Mr. Hall’s 15 years of personal training experience is now brought to the High Performance Strength Systems Inc.
